Thank you for your very kind feedback. It can be very stressful having an operation, and I believe it is the job of the anaesthetist to carefully listen to concerns and, where possible, manage them through explanation and reassurance. I hope this good experience has given you confidence for any future health care needs and that you are recovering well from your procedure.

Dr Kingston was very compassionate regarding my situation and very understanding of my concerns, she went into great detail about the care that she would be providing to be able to ease my worries before I even went into theatre. Once in theatre Dr Kingston was very good at informing me what she was doing and why and making sure I was relaxed and comfortable before administering the Anaesthetic. I would just like to say thank you for all your kind words and for putting my mind at ease in what was already a stressful situation.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback at a difficult time for you personally. I hope that by taking time to listen to concerns, explain my plans and be gentle, I can help women through a challenging experience with the minimum of unnecessary stress. I hope you are recovering from your procedure and wish you well for the future.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr Kingston for the wonderful care I received in the Women's Hospital, Liverpool, during my recent operation. The attention I received both before and during my operation was first class. Before my operation Dr Kingston asked if I would like to listen to some music (although I still love rock-n-roll, didn't think it quite appropriate in the circumstances, and opted for Chopin and that beautiful piece from the film The Pianist.) Dr Kingston stayed by my side throughout my operation and was a constant reassurance. We talked about her little boy and his love of steam trains and that he could name so many parts of the engine, even though he was only 3-years old, and she was justifiably proud of him. Dr Kingston came to see when I returned to the hospital ward and it was so nice to see her. Once again thank you so much. I can't say it was a pleasure to have to go through this operation, but it was certainly a pleasure to meet Dr Kingston and have her by my side.

Dr Liz Kingston helped to deliver our baby boy Frankie Wilson on the 2nd/12/18 at 18:37 PM. The birth was not the most straight forward at times we were scared and myself in a lot of pain, but Liz managed to give us such a wonderful experience.. Liz constantly reassured us, she informed us of every person present and there role at every stage. We are very emotional even righting this message as Liz's presents, professionalism and warmth during the birth went above and beyond. We hope to thank Liz in person with Frankie in the future and when he is old enough tell him how detrimental to him coming into the world Liz was. We can not thank Liz and the Liverpool Womens for there service to our family enough ! Kind regards Georgia Hayes - Mummy James Wilson - Daddy Frankie Wilson - Baby

Thank you for your very kind feedback. Delivering your child can be very challenging and sometimes stressful, so good explanations of what to expect can go a long way to reducing anxiety and making it a better experience all round. I am so glad I was able to support you during your labour and delivery and wish you well as a family.
